Service repair for power supply board LJ92-01511A

Coppell TV Repair offers a REPAIR SERVICE for power supply board LJ92-01511A (Philips P/N 996510019427 ) as shown on the picture.

REPAIR SERVICE means that you have to send us your malfunctioning board that we will attempt to service, test and return to you.

Failure symptoms

LJ92-01511A has several different known failures (and certainly more that are not so well known yet).

One popular symptom is a completely dead TV - no front LED, no response to anything, buttons or remote.
Note this may also be an indication of a bad main board.

Another common failure indication is a pair of clicks when you try to turn on the television: one that activates the power supply board followed by another one that turns it off.

This may also be caused by something outside the power supply board.

There are two things that will help you increase the odds of having narrowed the problem to the power supply board.

First, take the back cover off the TV and look at the lower right corner of the power supply board, where there's a small sub-modile standing at 90 degrees to the board itself. There is a small LED on that module and when the power supply board is normal it emits steady green light. When power supply board shuts off with an error code that light is blinking.

Second, as this is another common source of a problem in those TVs, disconnect the cable connecting the Y-Main board with the power supply board and try to power on again to see if the TV is still refusing to come on.

Y-Main sustain is the board sitting to the leftmost side of the TV when looking from the back.

It is worth doing the same exercise with the ZSUS sustain board, which is sitting at the rightmost side of the TV when looking at the TV.

In that second case we recommend disconnecting the Y-Main board from the power and trying again; if the problem persists then it is more than likely that you have a bad power supply board, otherwise you are likely having the infamous Samsung Y-Main/buffers failure (which we also offer repair service for).

Processing time

Typical processing time for the repair is within two business days; if we have any probems that require more time (be it overload or technical problems) we will contact you with an update and request for more time.

We have a fairly high success ratio, but we still do not guarantee success; if we can't get the board to work, though, you will not need to pay.

Presently we do not charge in advance for repair services.

Instead, once the board(s) are received, tested, found to be defective, serviced and tested again to success we send a payment request to the customer.

If something along the process - such as unexpected difficulty or finding a board to be functional - arises we contact the customer via email and/or phone and disscuss options.

Minimal charge / diagnostic fee

If a board arrives and is determined to be functional we charge up to $25 for diagnostic fee.

For explanation of why do we do that please read this article.

Board requirements

We ask that the board arrives here in good physical condition and without traces of tampering. If someone (other than us, that is) has already attempted to service the board then please contact us with a description/pictures and do not directly place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to boards that have signs of repair attempts.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
