SERVICE DESCRIPTION - PLEASE READ IN FULL!
Coppell TV Repair offers you a REPAIR SERVICE for the EAY40504401 power supply board of your LG LCD TV as shown on the picture. (make sure your TV has that same board!)
REPAIR SERVICE means you have to send us your boards that we will service, test and return back to you.
Your power supply board is likely in need of repair if
- The TV is completely dead (no front LED at all);
- The TV clicks upon trying to turn on and either fails to come on or comes on for a short time and then shuts off;
- The TV comes up and stays up but has no backlight or the backlight flashes.
If your TV does not have those symptoms it may need a different service or it may still require power supply board service, which we may or may not be able to provide.
On the other hand, if it has those symptoms that is still not a guarantee that it is the power supply board that is bad.
Typical processing time for the repair is two business days; if we have any probems that require more time (be it overload or technical problems) we will contact you with an update and request for more time.
Service and payment
In all cases customer pays for return shipment, i.e. the minimum you would end up paying us is the return shipping cost to get the board back to you; we round up the amounts sometimes, but we do not purposefuly add to the standard carrier costs in attempt to boost revenue. You are actually welcome to send a pre-paid return shipping label if you want and we will not charge for return shipping.
If a board arrives in functional condition (we test it and it works as expected) you will be charged a minimal service charge of up to $25 (subject to change at any time) depending on the board and resources needed to establish its functionality.
If a board tests bad and we succeed in repairing it then you will be charged the price shown in the listing for the repair.
If we can't fix the board or don't want to take on the service (see below) you will not be asked to pay for our time.
We ask that the board arrives here in good physical condition and without traces of tampering. If someone (other than us, that is) has already attempted to service the board then please contact us with a description/pictures and do not directly place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to boards that have signs of repair attempts.
Unless otherwise noted all our repair services come with a standard 90 days warranty. In case of a problem customer is responsible for delivering of the warranted modules to our facility and we take care of all the rest (exchange, repair, refund, return S&H etc.)
