Coppell TV Repair offers a REPAIR SERVICE for the power PSPF701801A / BN44-00183A shown on the picture and used in Samsung PN58A550S1FXZA plasma TV.
REPAIR SERVICE means that you have to send in a malfunctioning board which we will diagnose, service, test and return back to you.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Advertised price is the maximum price you will pay and includes the return shipping costs.
You start the process through the orange button on the page by filling a short form with your contact information and a brief description of the problem.
An email with shipping instructions is automatically sent once you submit the form to the email address you provide.
You then package and send the board to us. You pay for the shipping to a carrier of your choice and nothing to us at this point.
Once we receive the board and open the box we test it and act depending on what we find out.
If the board arrives in working order you will be charged with a a diagnostic fee of up to $25 plus the return shipping costs, i.e. less than the advertised repair cost.
If the board is bad then we attempt to repair it.
If we succeed we send a payment request for the amount specified in the listing.
If we fail to we send you an email with details and usually only request that you pay for the return shipping and nothing else.
Please make sure your TV has the same board before proceeding with this service or contact us if yours is different to see if we offer repair service for it.
BOARD FAILURE SYMTOMS
A failed power supply board PSPF701801A in Samsung PN58A550S1FXZA is usually manifested by a completely dead TV (no front LED) or a random shutdown of the TV while working or just a pair of clicks (click on and then click off) upon attempt to turn on the TV, or a fast clicking by the board or a TV taking time to turn on or turning off by itself after a while.
Some of these symptoms can be caused by other boards too, though, so do not jump into conclusions.
Our repair service is not limited to replacing capacitors or common resistors!
Typical turnaround time is 2 business days. It is not guaranteed, though, as we can't control the volume of boards that arrive on a given day or the damage on the board.
Sometimes the damage extends beyond the common failures that this service covers for a fixed price. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to know that upfront. We try to repair everything that comes our way - this is our business - but when we break even on a board we will contact you and tell you that it is not worth repairing. In those rare cases we will return the board restored in to the best of our abilities to its original state, issue refund and ask you to cancel the sale on eBay.
It is not a nice experience for either side, but it is part of the business and it is best that we both know it upfront.
The board we receive must be physically intact and must have not been tampered with or serviced before.
If either of the two conditions is failed we reserve the right to reject service and return the board back to you at your expense.
If we take the board for service and fail to fix it within reasonable time (2 business days unless you allow us more) we will issue you refund and send it at our expense.
If a board arrives working you will only be liable for the return shipping costs, a fixed $20 diagnostic fee and whatever transaction fees eBay and PayPal incur on the transaction. You will receive back the rest.
